Respite Care

Regular respite care is important for maintaining the health and wellbeing of both primary carers and care recipients. Respite services may be planned for regular intervals or may be provided in response to an emergency or crisis situation.

The service is designed to meet individual needs and may include care on weekdays, weekends, overnight or for holidays.

Orwell Healthcare can assist by:

  • Providing the primary carer with a break from their caring responsibilities
  • Providing care ranging from home help to personal care
  • Supporting care recipients who have reactive and responsive behaviours
  • Providing social support and organising an activity such as an outing to the cinema, shops or sporting event etc.
