Services and Therapies at Garville Private.

At Garville Private, we provide access to a wide range of healthcare services and specialist therapies designed to support residents’ health, wellbeing and independence. Working closely with GPs, allied health professionals and specialist clinicians, our team ensures each resident receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs.
From physiotherapy and nutritional support to speech and language therapy, chiropody and specialist nursing advice, we help residents access the services they need in a comfortable and familiar environment.
Physiotherapy
Our on-site physiotherapy service supports residents in maintaining mobility, strength and independence. Physiotherapy can assist with rehabilitation following illness, injury or surgery, alongside helping residents manage ongoing mobility challenges.
Dietitian / Speech & Language Therapist
Residents can access dietetic support to help maintain optimal nutrition and hydration. Our dietitian works closely with the care team to support individual dietary needs.
Speech and Language Therapy assessments can be arranged when required, including swallowing assessments and recommendations to support safe eating and drinking. Standard assessments are included within the resident fee structure, while additional therapy sessions may incur an extra charge.
Chiropody
Good foot health is important for comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing. Residents may be eligible for HSE chiropody services where applicable. Private chiropody services can also be arranged when required.
Stoma Care Support
Residents living with a stoma can access specialist advice and support through the HSE stoma care nursing service, arranged by their GP when required.
Optician Services
Eye health assessments can be arranged to support residents’ vision and wellbeing. Residents with a medical card may qualify for services under the appropriate scheme. Private optician appointments can also be organised on request.
Dental Services
Regular oral health is an important part of overall wellbeing. Dental services, including oral cancer screening and denture support where eligible, can be arranged through the relevant healthcare schemes and professional providers.
Transport Services
Garville Private offers access to wheelchair-accessible transport to help residents attend medical appointments, hospital visits and community outings safely and comfortably. Our fully accessible vehicle supports residents in maintaining connections with healthcare services and the local community.
